The lead story is Polycom and leading Global Service Providers form the Open Visual Communications Consortium (OVCC) to create a visual communications exchange to enable visual B2B communications between VC and TP systems on different telecom networks; target start date is mid-2012. Polycom also announced a strategic alliance with HP and purchase of HP's Visual Collaboration business including Halo.
